I checked to see if I could roll back the driver to an earlier installation but the option was greyed out. I tried updating the graphics card driver, disabling the graphics card, reinstalling it, I tried unplugging the monitor from the computer and plugging it back in, and I tried a different DVI port but neither worked. That was a while ago and I've forgotten what exactly I did, unfortunately. I fiddled with a bunch of things and then rebooted and it suddenly worked. This has happened before after an update and I managed to fix it then, but I'm not sure how. If I have both plugged in at once the first monitor goes into idle mode, as in the light turns yellow. The moment I plug in my second monitor the login screen appears on that screen as normal.

If I have it plugged in by itself it stays active (the light stays green) and the loading screen appears for a second, but then the screen turns black even though Windows applied a new update this morning and since then one of my monitors isn't working.
